New Year’s Resolution

Every year I resolve that I will eat healthier.  On January 1 I managed to eat (in order) bagels, popovers, coffee, donuts, salami-wrapped cheese, soda cookies, chips, and pizza (with wine of course).

On January 2, the oh-so-smug TV newsfolks said that I should “forgive my failures”. Failures???  Wait, I managed to get the “break your New Year’s resolution and get back to normal” routine on the first day. I consider that an accomplishment.

Let’s hope for a happy, peaceful and prosperous new year.

  1. Way to go Larry! 👏 You’re an inspiration to us all!

For me, I was SO thankful to learn that bacon has been classified as a “vegetable”! 👍

Here is hoping that 2024 proves to be better than 2023 . . . with my apologies to those that had a perfect or near-perfect 2023 🤣

  2. You’re definitely on a roll! Only thing you didn’t understand is that the food isn’t supposed to be crammed into the first day of the year! If you can spread out your cravings till 2025 that’ll be your second accomplishment!
